Who We Are

JF Shofar Productions, Inc. was founded in 2005. we are a professional music studio whose mission is to help people create great products to be inserted into the music world. We work with all genre, making sure our product is positive, avoiding offensive material that could hurt others in any way. We believe in innovation, diversity and inspirational work. Hence, we are committed to leaving footprints that will make an impact in the industry forever.

Bio

Frank Betemit was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC. As a young boy he went to music school for piano lessons and continued throughout his life. He studied piano, mastering this instrument that would later become his dearest. During his teenage and young adult years, he taught voice lessons to high school students and was part of a latin music group. One day while at church, Frank heard the sound of someone playing a shofar. He thought this was a great sound. A sound that anticipated moving forward and proclaiming victory. He loved the name in such a way that he decided to call his music work “Shofar”.

In 2005 Frank started a home music studio under the name Shofar, where he worked on music projects such as musical arrangements, composing, background vocals and producing a gospel music album. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he closed the music studio in 2014, and stopped working with music for four years. He retook his passion for music in 2018 and has been doing freelance work ever since.

In 2019 Frank decided to go back to school and work on his music degree at Full Sail University. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production of Science in June 2022. His business is now called JF Shofar Productions, LLC. Frank will be offering his passion for music, diversity and creativity to the music industry through JF Shofar Productions. The best is yet to come.
